TikTok Shop needed a way to educate creators about policy violations without disrupting their experience. Repeat violations were a growing problem, with creators often unaware of what they did wrong.
approach
Designed and produced a 17-episodic video series that delivered bite-sized policy education at the exact moment of violation. Each episode was paired with an interactive knowledge guide that reinforced learning immediately after viewing.

Conceived and pitched the TikTalk concept directly to the Head of Governance. Assembled a cross-functional production team, managed relationships with policy and legal stakeholders, and navigated the complexity of delivering educational content within TikTok's For You Feed algorithm. Built the measurement framework that proved the 90% violation reduction — the data that convinced leadership to scale the program globally.
